Brian Biggs, President

Opened and developed the first walk in clinic in Murfreesboro. The office enjoyed rapid growth and success under his direction. He was responsible for market development and overseeing the day to day operation of clinic. He subsequently opened offices in Manchester and Fayetteville, TN. Prior to opening the clinic in Murfreesboro Biggs served as owner and President of Professional Pulmonary Services located in Cleveland, TN. While there he helped coordinate patient care and provided Respiratory and durable medical equipment for home use and provided medical services on a 24 hour basis to patients that relied on equipment for life saving needs. Biggs has extensive critical care experience and a lengthy background in patient care and business development.

Dr. Charles R. Tessier IV. D.O

Dr. Charles R. Tessier IV. D.O – Medical Director of Hometown Family Medical who is licensed as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Tessier is Board Certified in Family Medicine with a strong background in Occupational Medicine. He has been serving as Medical Director of Arnold Engineering Development Center, Arnold Air Force Base TN for the last seven years. During that time he provided the bases occupational medicine, preventive medicine, urgent care, family medicine, health and wellness, patient education, office management, collaborative care and osteopathic manual manipulation. Some of his other responsibilities include oversight and performance of pre-placement, annual & DOT physical exams; oversight of OSHA medical surveillance programs; Medical Review Officer, Medical director of onsite fire, EMS and police departments; Clinic office manager; Health and Wellness Coordinator  Worker’s Compensation Oversight.

Mendy Hicks FNP

Graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, Nashville TN graduating with Master of Science in Nursing, summa cum laude, 2012 as Advanced Nurse Practitioner.  While at Vanderbilt she served as a student mentor and leader for incoming students.  Mendy has a background working with patients who have chronic diseases thereby being responsible for evaluation, coordination of care for the chronic patients.  She is proficient with interpretation of MRI/CT reports, interpretation of X-Rays, and management of complicated patient’s with multiple co-morbidities. Interpretation of Urine drug screen results, smoking cessation education, administration of knee, shoulder, trochanteric bursa, trigger point and occipital nerve block injections.  Collaboration with fellow specialists and primary care providers to optimize care for patients with complicated health histories.  Also, performing care in a pediatric setting, minor procedures and women’s health. When not serving as an FNP, she enjoys time with her husband and 3 children, singing in her church and fitness training.


Aden Burton PA-C

Born and Raised in Murfreesboro, TN, Aden graduated from Siegel High in 2014 and then went on to Bethel University, where he graduated in 2018. Aden graduated from Bethel University PA Program in May of 2021. Background prior to PA School consist of orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics, physiology, and working with disabled patients. Aden is proficient in urgent care, as well as managing chronic conditions. Also he is capable of performing minor procedures in office, like, sutures, intra-articular injections, trigger finger injections, bursitis injections and interpret diagnostic test and imaging.


Warren Stoffey PA-C

Warren graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and has been a physician assistant for 43 years. He broad range of experience including cardiothoracic surgery, internal medicine and emergency medicine. He served in the military during Operation Desert Storm and is a disabled veteran. He served as a preceptor for physician assistant and nurse practitioner students for many years. He was selected PA of the Year by the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants in 2007. For several years he was an active participant in Operation Stand down, a 3-day program to clothe and rehabilitate Nashville’s homeless veteran population. In the past he was featured in The Tennessean as an example of the PA profession. He has been married to his wife, Fran for forty years and they are Murfreesboro residents since his release from the military in 1992.
